MacConkey Broth with Neutral Red is a standard medium used for primary isolation as well as presumptive identification of coli-aerogenes group in food and water.

  Final pH (at 25°C): 7.4 ± 0.2

g/L: Suspend 40.07 g of the powder in 1000 mL purified / distilled water and mix thoroughly.
